Coombe Abbey

Coombe Abbey sits in Coombe Country Park. The Abbey is now a privately run hotel but the park is run by Coventry City Council. For the public to properly enjoy Capability Brown’s 1770s landscape modern facilities are needed.

Top Pool Lodge (the visitor facilities building) was destroyed by fire in 2009. The project to rebuild the Lodge needed to focus on a robust design to withstand future potential damage and to visually blend into the park landscape.
